PARTNERS

Kraken Technology Group is partnered with a number of key companies in the development of its own solutions and platforms. These include industry leaders in the defence and technology industries, renowned naval architects, acclaimed hull and aerodynamics designers and experienced operators. Kraken’s core Management Team were all participants in the World Record breaking collaboration in 2018 with Jaguar Land Rover Group and Williams Advanced Engineering which achieved a new electric powered World Record speed of 88.6mph. Further World Record attempts are now being planned which will continue to push the boundaries of maritime performance and endurance.


THALES

Thales, one of the world’s most renowned defence companies, partner with Kraken on the integration of a range of sensor and weapons equipment with scalable command and control, communication and networking systems. Specifically the fitment of Thales’s Lightweight Multi-role Missile (LMM Martlet) to the K5 KRAKEN platform. The relationship extends to a number of other areas, including systems integration, maritime powertrain electrification and other maritime platforms.



DILLON AERO​

Dillon Aero partner around the integration of their M134D Miniguns on the K5 KRAKEN maritime gunship. Currently employed by all branches of the U.S. military and in more than 30 countries, Dillon’s M134D Minigun is one of the most reliable weapons in the world given its capacity, simplicity in loading and ease of maintenance. Designed for speed and accuracy, the M134D is a true force multiplier and ideal for the operational requirements of the K5 KRAKEN.


MSI-DEFENCE SYSTEMS​

UK based MSI-DS are a land and naval weapon systems specialist with more than 120 years of experience in the defence industry. Specialising in precision engagement, weapons direction, remote situational awareness and hard kill on a range of host platforms, MSI-DS has developed cross-domain weapons platforms and control systems for naval, land, and littoral environments.

This partnership specifically focuses on the integration of MSI-Defence Systems Seahawk Compact Weapon Station (CWS30) and LMM launcher (CWSM) into the K5 KRAKEN maritime precision engagement vessel. This will meet fast interception and interdiction requirements of navies, border forces and law-enforcement agencies. 


LEONARDO

Leonardo, a global high-technology company, is among the top world players in Aerospace, Defence and Security and Italy’s main industrial company. The relationship will see the integration of Leonardo’s Black Scorpion mini-torpedo into the K5 KRAKEN, enabling the Gunship to address subsurface domain threats.


COSWORTH​

Cosworth is a global technology business with six decades of engineering experience that delivers propulsion, electronics and software solutions for customers in the automotive, aerospace and marine sectors.

Cosworth have partnered with Kraken on the development of a high-performance battery solution and powertrain integration which will propel future battery-electric Kraken platforms such at the K4 MANTA.


AUTERION

Auterion are developing the world’s leading operating system for autonomous computing, partnering with Kraken on the integration of their technology into world class autonomous vessels.


BLUEHALO

BlueHalo is partnering with Kraken to develop and bring to market innovative Mission and UAS integration systems.

L3HARRIS

L3Harris ASV is a world leader in autonomous vessel technology, designing, building and operating ASVs on a worldwide basis and developing its own industry leading autonomous control system, ASView. 

The relationship with Kraken will see this expertise brought to bear firstly on K4 MANTA where L3s integrated systems will enable the remote control of the uncrewed platform for engineering testing, foil development, powertrain calibration and demonstration before enhancement in later developmental stages.
