Qualified engineer with over 20 years of diverse experience in the marine industry across defence, leisure, commercial and offshore racing.
Founder / Owner of the Vector Racing Team from its inception in 2012 and twice winner of the Cowes Classic, a two-time British Champion and holder of the K7 Gold Star in recognition of multiple maritime World and National Speed Records.
Involved in numerous successful early phase SME’s across media and technology and held various senior commercial positions for sports and entertainment companies including Formula 1.

CHIEF COMMERCIAL OFFICER
Experienced marketeer with a 23-year career marketing British premium brands across worldwide markets.
18 years with Jaguar Land Rover include Global Sponsorship and Partnerships, Land Rover G4 Challenge, Brand Extension and Armed Forces Steering Committee.
Experienced in bespoke and armoured vehicles, military fleet direct sales, humanitarian, conservation, corporate social responsibility partnerships and military veteran re-employment initiatives.

JOHN DONNELLY
CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Marine engineer with over 25 years experience including both conventional and experimental craft, hydrofoil, hovercraft and hydro-nautical design.
Designed, developed and operated the Honda Racing Series, the largest offshore powerboat race series in history.
Successfully operated his own racing and World Record breaking teams.
Holds three World and two National Speed Records and supports numerous other successful World Records.

Highly innovative chartered naval architect with extensive experience in development of progressive next-generation naval platforms.
Highly-experienced in conceptual design and development, utilising CAD and VR systems.
Expert in rapid prototyping and AI analytical techniques to develop disruptive craft through use of advanced technologies.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
Served 39 years in the Royal Marines gaining the rank of Warrant Officer 1st Class.
36 of these in the Surface Manoeuvre (SurfM)/ Amphibious capability area including various operations worldwide in support of UK and coalition partners.
The last 3 years having been working in Navy Develop supporting the Commando Force defining the future SurfM capabilities.

UK qualified Auditor and Finance professional with 11 years in the financial management of marine technology businesses.
Managed 10x revenue growth of a maritime autonomy business - scaling from 20 to almost 200 employees. Oversaw the sale to an international defence prime and the subsequent integration into that organisation.
Scaled another rapid growth marine technology business specialising in electric propulsion through raising funding and supporting the development of the business strategy.

THE RT HON. ADMIRAL LORD WEST GCB DSC PC
ADVISOR
Admiral Lord West has spent the majority of his naval career at sea, serving in fourteen different ships and commanding three of them including in the Falklands War.
In November 2000 he became Commander-in-Chief Fleet, NATO Commander-in-Chief East Atlantic and NATO Commander Allied Naval Forces North. He led the United Kingdom’s maritime response to 9/11 including the invasion of Afghanistan.
He became First Sea Lord in 2002. He inspired and organised the Trafalgar Bicentennial Fleet Review and led the Navy during its crucial and successful role in the initial invasion of Iraq.

Senior advisor to the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy for the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.

DEFENCE ADVISOR (INTERNATIONAL)
Served in Britain’s elite Special Boat Service (SBS) for 17 years.
Started two companies specialising in offshore boat training and specialist parachute training to the US and foreign military units.
Accomplished powerboat racer and member of the Vector Racing Team and three-time winner of the Cowes-Torquay-Cowes Race.

CAPT (RETD) CRAIG POWELL
DEFENSE ADVISOR (US)
26 years in the US Navy, foremost as a SEAL team commander including operations with SWCC (boats), SDV (minisubs – wet submersibles) and as an Army Ranger, Military Attaché, British SBS officer (exchange) and 2 years with SMUs (Special Mission Units).
An accomplished operator in a variety of maritime warfare green water environments.
Focused on maritime security consultancy including training, operations, procurement, research and development, production and program management.
