Senior Systems Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to help lead the development of our platforms, working across the full system lifecycle — from early concept through to deployment and in-service support.

You’ll take ownership of systems engineering activities, bringing structure to complexity and ensuring our systems are robust, compliant and ready for real-world use.

This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, as well as customers, suppliers and external stakeholders.

• Lead systems engineering activities across the full lifecycle
• Capture, define and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability through to verification
• Develop system architectures across mechanical, electrical and control systems
• Support key programme reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR)
• Drive integration activities and manage interfaces across subsystems
• Support verification and validation, including test planning and execution
• Contribute to safety engineering activities (hazard analysis, risk assessment, safety cases)
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and industry requirements
• Act as a technical point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

• Strong experience in systems engineering across the full lifecycle
• Experience defining and managing requirements in complex systems
• A track record of developing system architectures
• Good understanding of integration, interfaces and multidisciplinary engineering
• Experience working closely with mechanical, electrical and software teams
• Knowledge of verification and validation methods
• An understanding of safety engineering principles
• Confidence working independently and leading technical workstreams

• Experience with autonomous or remotely operated systems
• Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g. maritime)
• Technical or project leadership experience
