About the role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated IT Apprentice to join our growing team in Segensworth. This is an exciting opportunity to develop practical IT skills while supporting colleagues across the business and gaining hands-on experience in a professional technology environment.

As an IT Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced IT professionals, helping to deliver day-to-day technical support, maintain IT systems and devices, and contribute to projects that support the wider business. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of technologies, including Microsoft 365, endpoint management, user support, and IT infrastructure.

This role is ideal for someone with a genuine passion for technology, a desire to learn, and an interest in building a long-term career in IT.

What you'll be doing

  • Provide first-line IT support for hardware, software and user access issues
  • Log, monitor and manage support requests through the service desk
  • Assist with the setup, configuration and deployment of laptops, desktops and mobile devices
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including account and device management
  • Maintain accurate IT asset records and inventory
  • Assist with basic Microsoft 365 and Entra ID administration
  • Support printers, meeting room technology and office IT systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve day-to-day IT issues across the business
  • Update and maintain IT documentation and knowledge base materials
  • Support IT projects, including device rollouts, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Complete apprenticeship training, coursework and professional development activities alongside your role

What we're looking for

  • A strong interest in IT and technology
  • Basic understanding of computer systems and software applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
  • Good communication skills and confidence supporting users
  • Organised and able to follow processes effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Desirable experience

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications such as Outlook and Teams
  • Basic hardware troubleshooting knowledge
  • Interest in AI, cloud technologies or cybersecurity
  • Previous IT-related study, qualifications or coursework
