Electrical Technician

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team in Segensworth. You’ll play a key role in delivering safe, high‑quality electrical maintenance, installations, and project work, ensuring all activities are compliant with regulations and Kraken standards.

This is a hands‑on role that suits someone who enjoys problem‑solving, collaborating across teams, and taking pride in delivering reliable, efficient electrical solutions.

• Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding, repairs, and installations
• Ensuring compliance with electrical regulations, safety standards, and internal policies
• Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment
• Supporting and mentoring team members with technical guidance and best practice
• Working closely with Mechanical, Operations, Safety, and Quality teams on cross‑functional tasks
• Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults to minimise downtime and maximise productivity
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent
• Supporting material ordering, budgeting activities, and stock control for electrical supplies

• Recognised qualification in Electrical/Marine Engineering or a related field
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and standards
• Significant relevant and recent production experience in the marine industry
• Have a good understanding of boat building techniques and processes
• In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and Engineering standards

• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office

• Maintain professionalism when working with customers, suppliers, and contractors
