Amelia Gould is Chief Technology Officer at Kraken Technology Group, where she leads the company's technology strategy and the development of its advanced maritime platforms. A recognised expert in AI, autonomy, and maritime technologies, Amelia has more than 25 years of experience across the defence sector. Amelia has progressed from a Royal Navy Engineering Officer to senior roles at BAE Systems, including Naval Ships Combat Systems Portfolio Director. She later joined Helsing UK as Managing Director and General Manager Maritime, where she built the company from a start-up to a neo-Prime. At Kraken, Amelia is focused on scaling the company's expanding portfolio of autonomous maritime platforms to meet evolving global defence requirements.
Amelia is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, she also serves as Chair of the Trustees of FirstUK and is a member of the UK Government's Industrial Strategy Advisory Council.
